CTI’s Model 4396 Power Transfer Switch allows UPSs to be daisy-chained to a load for greater reliability and/or increased holdup time.
The PTS unit automatically transfers a load power by UPS-1 to UPS-2 power whenever the output of UPS-1 fails (blackout) or falls below 100 VAC (brownout).
The load may be transferred back to UPS-1 after a delay, depending on the nature and durations of the UPS-1 power anomaly, otherwise the load remains powered by UPS-2 indefinitely.
CTI’s Model 4700 Advanced Power Transfer Switch provides critical loads with a means to automatically switch to a redundant power source in the event the primary source fails.
The APTS will automatically transfer back to the primary input when it returns to a stable power source.
The APTS is available in two input voltage ranges with a variety of AC input and output connector configurations.
